Our latest sailor has returned to delight club members with his wit and stories from the 'One and All' Sail training ship.

Zeke was challenged with mast climbing, night watches, caring for ALL your belongings and keeping the gangway clear. He enjoyed the experience which reminded his Mum of a similar experience she had many years ago.

Another returned sailor, Amna also gave her reminiscence of the January cruise. A similar experience which challenged her in different ways to Zeke's high adventure.

 

 

We still have more beanies, scarves, rugs and toys to sell in front of Coles at Southgate shops.

 

Our birds were many and varied and the conversation flowing at the recent crafty day at Rotary Hall Christies Beach.  Everyone enjoyed the process and the end result. All are welcome next month when we will be getting ourselves in knots making a macrame plant hanger.

You are also welcome to bring your own craft.

All supplies are free and beginners welcome.  Tea, coffee and biscuits with a hot cheese toastie for lunch.

 

REMINDER that our June recycling day will be on Saturday 13 instead of our usual first Saturday as club members will be assisting the Southern Football League with their gates on that day.
