CREATE, CONNECT and CHAT is on again with a macrame plant hanger being the craft to learn next Wednesday. All materials provided free and the craft is suitable for beginners. Stay for a hot toastie lunch. Morning tea provided. 

 

The last few months have seen some new faces at our Bunnings BBQ events. Some of these have been volunteers from the Flinders Foundation https://flindersfoundation.org.au/ in their light blue shirts. They receive a portion of the day's profits for the Foundation and so far this year have earned more than $1000 from our BBQs for their cause.

The remainder after costs goes to Rotary projects.

Rotary members plan, buy supplies, set up, manage the payments and clean up afterwards whilst helping local organisations. The BBQ funds also facilitate projects that benefit our community. 

We received a nice letter from the Flinders Foundation thanking us for our involvement in helping the Foundation raise funds that benefit our local community.
