Jenny's 'All Kids' project benefits
Jenny Neale presented her 'Partner's Project' to members when DG Geoff Neale and his wife Jenny visited 0n 2 March. Jenny received a cheque for $500 from the club for 'All Kids' a project to benefit the education of children in Cambodia.
 
 
Dini [Area Governor] Jeff [District Governor] Jenny [Partner] and Merilyn [President] and the presentation of the cheque from funds raised by club members.

 
'All Kids' aims to overcome barriers to education in the Prek Trabaek area of south western Cambodia.

Community garden at Christies Beach
As part of our efforts to create a community garden at Rotary Hall (council grant was applied for and awarded) we needed to consult with nearby residents.
 
Rotary Hall was set up ready to receive interested residents. The response was really positive.
 
The garden will include 4 wheelchair accessible wicking beds, as well as a garden bed in the shape of the Rotary wheel constructed with donated house bricks for succulents and a Peace Pole.

Rotarians valued at W T Park celebration
Rotarians raised funds for an 'All Access' carousel at Wilfred Taylor Reserve as part of Onkaparinga Council's nature playground upgrade. Rotary members were invited by Nat Cook MP to an announcement and photoshoot honouring all organisations and individuals who played a part in the popular upgrade. Rotarians  Merilyn, Terry, Gaynor and Susan stood with MPs Katrine Hildyard and Nat Cook to commemorate the event.
 
VALE Don Douglas
For those members who knew Don Douglas.
Don passed away in the early morning of Monday 28th February after a short illness, surrounded by his wife and family, aged 94.
Don was a long serving member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Noarlunga, an active member right up to his retirement from Rotary.
The funeral will take place on Monday 7th March, 10.30am, at Alfred James Funerals, 272 Main South Rd, Morphett Vale.
