The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons held a fundraising ball at Playford Hotel with Interplast being their chosen charity. A local Adelaide doctor the late Dr Tim Proudman was honoured and remembered for his dedication to the Interplast programmes in Bhutan. Tim's youngest son Will spoke of his dads dedication and enthusiasm for the work Interplast performs in Bhutan and of which he was a vital part. Will, as a newly qualified doctor has been to Bhutan twice now and is becoming committed to follow in his Father's footsteps. The night was spectacular and $36,500 was raised. New CEO at Interplast Tim Roth, is a very experienced and knowledgeable person who will successfully lead Interplast into the future. |
