Polio - Jonas Salk would be 107 on 28 October

Jonas Edward Salk was an American virologist and medical researcher who developed one of the first successful polio vaccines.

Port Noarlunga Jetty 100 this year

A three day celebration has been planned by the Port Noarlunga Business and Tourism Association from 10-12 December to commemorate the jetty’s centenary.

Built solely for recreational purposes, it is the second jetty on this site. Our current jetty is popular with amateur fishers and locals indulge in all types of watersports. The jetty also enables easy access to the Port Noarlunga Reef Aquatic Reserve.

Donations In Kind working bee

Club members gathered for a road trip to Edinburgh to help out at Rotary's 'D.I.K.'. Sorting, tidying and sharing morning tea enabled members to familiarise themselves with the huge range of items stored on the premises.

Another example of Morphett Vale Rotarians building goodwill and better friendships.

Guess who is coming to dinner?

Members and friends enjoyed a mystery on Saturday evening. Some were hosts, some were guests and neither group knew who would be sharing a meal.
